Meet Scott Oordt
Hi, I'm Scott Oordt, a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Construction Management. After college, I began my career working for commercial general contractors, which gave me firsthand experience managing projects from the builder's perspective and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver successful outcomes.
What I Offer
Today, as part of the Legacy Group Interiors team, I partner with property managers, general contractors, and end users throughout the Puget Sound market to provide commercial flooring, tile, and interior solutions that are both functional and thoughtfully designed.
I believe great projects are built on communication, trust, and follow-through. My goal is simple: be the easy button for my clients. Whether we're refreshing occupied spaces, planning capital improvements, or selecting finishes for a new project, I strive to make the process straightforward, transparent, and enjoyable from start to finish.
At Legacy Group, our mission is "Doing good business with good people achieving great results" - a philosophy I carry into every relationship and project.

University of Washington Husky Football Operations Center
This project at the University of Washington Husky Football Operations Center was a highly coordinated, occupied renovation completed in an active collegiate athletics environment. Work was carefully phased and executed during off hours to ensure the facility remained fully functional for the football program throughout construction.
The scope required detailed planning and sequencing, including furniture relocation, protection of existing areas, and close coordination around the team’s schedule and away games. Maintaining access and minimizing disruption for athletes and staff was a top priority from start to finish.
In partnership with the University of Washington and Mohawk, we helped develop a custom flooring package that elevated the overall design of the facility while meeting the performance demands of a high-traffic athletic environment. The project included carpet tile, LVT, tile, and polished concrete finishes, each selected to balance durability, functionality, and aesthetic impact.
We are proud to partner on projects like this that enhance and elevate spaces for our clients - creating environments that support performance, pride, and long-term use.
